Can i sync my ipod to itunes w/out losing Installous apps?

I dont really care if my apps get lost i can reinstall BUT there is this app called Diary where i put all my fav memorie, pics, recordings.. I dont wanna lose this.. So if i sync my ipod to itunes will i lose this?
