and they still play more SD content on digital cable
or antenna like shaw has me with 300 SD channels
and 40 HD. There is only like 3 3d movies out anyways.

I im actually wondering what its gonna be like watching 3d on your own tv ,but i dont think it will last.people go for quality than 3d these days ,thats my opinion

Market share for 3D TV will not be great . should be taken less than 6 % of total TV market share worldwide.

In general, people still looking for BEST quality and CHEAP TV. or try to up-grade from small screen to big screen TV.
90 % of human EYE cannot watch 3D movies for more than 3 hours ! can you ? try one day.you get answer.

3D tv will not last. It will have the same problem as the 3D gaming system that was released awhile back. The game system was yanked from the market because of the eyesight and nasty headaches it was causing.

It will probably stick around. That is because so many companies are behind, consumer reports gave the 3d tvs very high marks, stating that it lives up to the hype, and the first batch of 3d tvs sold out in a few days. Also to Ari virtual boy was a totally different system. Actually the 3d system for pc has been Nvidia and it has been out for awhile now. They are doing fine because it works like the 3d coming out for home tv now. Plus there are movie glasses you wear that can do 2d and 3d like the cinemizer that have been selling for several years now.

I saw these same kinds of comments when 3d started coming out in theater, how it would be gone by now, those people now have egg on their face. Be careful what you predict.

Also many people can watch hours of 3d content. I communicated through email with a guy that had worked in and then owned a 3d company for 3 decades. Of course he and all the coworkers he worked with over those years had to look at hours of 3d content every day at work. He said none of them had a problem with it. If you have a problem watching 3d movies, then that is you, not always the next person.

Why is it when you get people that don't like 3d they seem to forget there are trillions of other people living in the world. Don't get it. You can tell that the people that don't like 3d are really getting pissed off that so many like it. That is because they know that the only arguments they can come up with against 3d is purely subjective and in the end does not make a good enough persuasion to make it stop. They try to make them sound so based on some kind of universal authority but they really are just personal opinions and not absolute truth.

Also as a side note, grizzly adams productions has announced that they will pay to have their library of tv shows and movies all converted to 3d. That is one huge list of shows and movies. That will add greatly to 3d content.
