How can I burn a video onto a DVD to play in a DVD player? Hey I am trying to burn a 3GB video file I edited using Adobe Premiere Pro with Nero burning software. I converted the avi file into MPEG-2 for DVDs. ALthough, when I tried to burn the DVD it just froze...

Few questions -
- If you try to burn a file that is 3 GB that runs for 2hr onto a 4.7 GB 120min DVD will it work?
- Is there an easier way to do what I am trying to do?

Download convert x to dvd,convert the video to the correct format(program will do this for you),convert and play,

Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..

I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it, it works just great.

It will automatically convert to DVD format, readable by all standard dvd players, it will then burn automatically to DVD...

The best format to use is AVI. NeroVision will convert it into DVD format, but 3 GB for a 2 hour movie is very big. The average size, in AVI format, would be +/- 1 GB.
