How safe is it to take a regular 20GB Xbox 360 Hard Drive and use it in a friends xbox?

I want to do this only for 1 day and plan on bringing it back the same day. Unsure whether that damages the drive, but I dont know

IT GONNA BLOW UP!!!!lmao jkjk its perfetly safe actually thats part of the reason why they make it so anyone can just remove it and then put it another so you can transfer your gamer account and all that stuff so yeah its fine
