What you are talking about are HDMI inputs. Sorry there is nothing you can do to upgrade to HDMI. Early HDTV sets didn't have HDMI because it either didn't exist, or was too new to be included in a given TV years back. If your TV is pre-HDMI, chances are it's not even 1080p, but rather 1080i. Because HDMI is digital and encrypted it's not a simple matter of just adding the input, there are other electronics that need to be added not to mention licensing and the digital keys needed to decrypt a digital stream from something like a blu ray player.
