Looking for a replacement ac/dc adaptor?
Looking for a replacement ac/dc adaptor? Hi. My wife is a manicurist and recently told me that the ac/dc adapter for her drill burnt out. I don't know much about adapters or how to read them but i could really use some help finding a cheap replacement. The original says its a class 2 transformer ac/dc adapter, input 120 VAC 60Hz, output 24VDC 1000mA. Please help me, she needs it for her work. I really dont want to get a new replacement from the manufacturer since they want to charge me an arm and a leg. It doesnt have to be a brand name. Thanks

I'm worried you may not buy the replacement so easily. I would say hard to find. Go to the electronics spare parts store. Make sure to buy the one with a DC jack similar to the original.

There does not seem to be any kind of standard for size of the connectors. I would suggest taking the old adapter down to your local radio shack and see if they cam match it.
