Lost HD signal to TV? What gives?
Lost HD signal to TV. What gives? My new Vizio HDTV (hooked up to an AT&T/Motorla cable box) was getting HD channels, but suddenly stopped. Now I only get a low-def picture. The cable box still has the blue light saying I'm getting high-def, and in the menu it's still set on 1080 ... but it's no longer sharp and clear. I swapped the HDMI cable but that didn't matter. How do I get the TV and cable box on the same page?

Is the picture still full-screen without looking stretched? If it is it's still high-def but there's a problem with the signal you're receiving. Contact your cable provider and ask them to troubleshoot it.

If you see good HD there (or very clear full screen picture with an upscaling DVD player), it's time to get help from AT&T. If not, you have some type of issue with the TV rather than your U-verse receiver or service.
