i am a magic jack user, yes it happens, and you can only fix the problem for a little better,if you restart the computer and re dial the #.it is free so you should try to redial as you feel, echoing in the voice, or missing the words & sound.good luck
answer: Feroze R time: 1970-01-05 17:00:08that is either related to the latency or speed of your internet connection... or the resources being hogged up on the PC that the MJ is connected to... check the task manager to be sure no non-essential programs are running on the PC during calls that could be using up the resources of the CPU and memory of the PC... and run a few speed tests on your internet connection... i use http://speedtest.net/http://speakeasy.net/speedtest/http://www2.verizon.net/micro/speedtest/…the reason i use multiple tests is to ensure the speed is similar and consistent to various other local servers... aside from running speed tests to local servers to where you are, you may want to run some speed tests from your location to near where you are calling, to see if there is a huge drop in speed internationally (some speed loss is to be expected to distant servers)
answer: joe r time: 1970-01-05 10:00:02'magic jack' telephones are using Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)/the internet. If your internet arrives via wireless/satellite then for voice it will have a lot of jitter and may be unuseable especially when the internet connection is being used a lot.
