The Pre.Its not a good phone. Its a great phone! I have had mine since it first came out and it has exceeded my expectations.Don't take my word. Recently the Pre won best phone by laptop magazine and its the only phone EVER to get a 5 star rating from G4Tv. The hero only got 3 stars. Mainly the Operating System on the Pre called WebOs is amazing. It truly outshines others and it is much more elegant. HP realized this and just bought Palm for 1.2 billion. They would not do that if it wasn't any good, they feel its the best. Think about it, HP has some pretty technical people on staff and 1.2 billion is alot of money.Pros: Free software updates. The pre will never be outdated. Palm adds features and functionality every few months and has had many more updates. Plenty of apps over 6k and growing everyday. TRUE Multitasking, the card system works great and is fun and simple to use. Great camera, Operating system WebOs is very smooth and elegant. Palm allows you to tweak your phone and customize it for your needs. Universal search is an awesome feature on the phone. just start typing on any screen and it will search your phone/internet/google/wiki for what you are typing. Its great for pulling up a contact, search for a place to go, or any information. Saves time from opening up a browser then google, it automatically does it for you. Way cool. Last pro is the Keypad. Check out PreCentral, its a user community group for the Pre. I have read that droid can be difficult to use and figure out. So, if you are not a techie type then opt for the Pre. Its not that the Pre is not techie, its just WebOs is simply better and easier to operate.Cons: But I think this is a con for any smartphone. Battery life. The phone does so much so battery life is lacking. Needs to be charged everyday. Back up batteries are cheap. Not bad idea to carry a spare. $40
