Make sure you are willing to stick with it! Don't just go and by the 6th gen because its new. Even though Alton Brown said "good things aren't cheap and cheap things aren't good", you should still stick with that ipod for the next 3-5 years

if its cheap you should buy it now because the 6th gen wont come out till fall. and well rumors on the internet say about how the new nano will be touch screen. wrong! The nanos are click wheel iPods and they will keep them that way for another year or two . due to apple making the new iPhones with fingerprint resistant screens . the nanos wont get that because the new iPod touch will get it first. If i were you i would just get it off your friend! the 5th gen is not bad at all! hope this helped :)
