answer: Richard time: 2010-08-16 18:22:50Ps3 Pros:1) Quiet2) Motion sensitive controllers3) You can use any Bluetooth headset, keyboard, mouse, etc....4) Blu-ray5) Lack of flashing lights on front of machine!6) Built in wi-fi card7) HDMI included8) Free Online Community and Game Play9) Tech support speaks english and appears to be located in America, they understood my name and my question.10) Controllers come with built in rechargable battery and can be charged with any usb port.11) easy to navigate menus12) No ridiculous power brick, one cord, if you want to take your ps3 with you somewhere you only need the controller, the unit and the power cord.Ps3 Cons:1) No IR receiver, you can't use your regular universal remote to control the ps3 you need a bluetooth which means an extra remote.2) Shape, this one sounds stupid, but the rounded shape of the ps3 really annoys me because you can't stack, say your wii, or even lay your remotes on top of the unit. (maybe you shouldn't do that anyhow LOL)3) Less games, or at this point I guess the better point would be less games made for the ps3, instead of built for the xbox and ported to the ps3, this is however changing and in the future will be less of an issue.Xbox 360 Pros:1) Great online setup, lots of features which some may miss on the ps3, many probably will not2) great game line up with a head start on ps33) Easy to navigate menus4) Native Netflix SupportXbox 360 Cons:1) Noise2) Build Quality3) Online service is $50 per year.4) Tech support, I have called xbox live support several times, it is impossible to get them to understand what the issue is or even my name, I even gave up once.PlayStation 3http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002ZJ4…Xbox 360 Consolehttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003BRJ…

answer: PlayStrum time: 2010-08-16 05:22:43Hello Aaron....Interesting I found your question here today... My two sons' have been arguing this point for years. Just today we were talking about how PS3 is going 3D.. My oldest son (27) swears by the XBox....and my younger son (17) swears by the PS3. I really don't think there's much of a difference save for who bought what kind first. It's what you get used to in the end that matters. Kind of like a certain type of ice-cream! lol If you've liked Rocky Road all your life then no matter how many other brands you're introduced to, you're going to stick with Rocky Road cause it's your favorite! ! Goodaytoyou!
answer: Sweetea time: 2010-08-15 14:22:55It depends on your situation. Xbox 360s have better graphics, more games, larger fan base, and more online play. However, the constant need for updates can be annoying, and cause the Xbox 360 to crash, often. The PS3 has less graphics, it's still newer, and thus has less games/fans. However it's also built to last. The PS3 has less software crashes and hardware overheats, a common problem with Xbox 360. Xbox 360 is thus more expensive as well. In conclusion, The Xbox 360 is more fun, but crashes and can cost big in the end. PS3 is sturdier and more portable, but the gameplay is lacking. If you don't mind spending some money, go with Xbox 360, if money is tight, Ps3 is the way to go.
answer: Shockingyoda time: 2010-08-15 10:22:52i would say the ps3 because more games are coming out in ps3 than xbox it seems as if all the good rating action games come out on ps3 now,but there are good games on xbox also but the newer games come out on ps3 lately, and the critics say Performance wise ps3 is the way to go,but if its Graphics you like xbox360!! and also for game selections XBOX 360 is almost always better. but also xbox360 gets problems easiy so watch out if you get a xbox360, so my vote.............ps3

answer: PlayStrum time: 2010-08-15 06:22:52Both are equally good in terms of gameplay. But the PS3 is better in terms of hardware reliability.
