if you want great quality photos go with the black cased cameras from Nikon or olympus - there is a notable differance in quality from the cheaper colored cameras from the same manufacurer and STAY AWAY from KODAK DIGITAL! They were GREAT as FILM cameras but entered the digital market late and their quality is lacking in digital. My mom bought Kodak and sent it back 3 times. She assumed since kodak was good as film camera that it was still a good name. But Not So! Other companies have surpassed Kodak in the Digital world
