Answer Question

I'd say innovative, portable, handy, expensive. The iPad looks on course to do what the iPhone did before it - which is create a need for a new product in the course of the marketing campaign for it.They are expensive and many can not see the point of owning something halfway between a laptop and a phone that does the job of neither. However, this is an unfair comparison as the iPad is aimed at providing a new service to its users that neither phones nor laptops are designed to provide. They are much lighter and more portable than a laptop and don't need to be booted up and plugged in; or more importantly rested on your lap to use. This means you can pull your iPad out of your handbag while you're walking down the street to check Google maps or get a taxi number from a directories website. They also have excellent battery life so you can stay up watching films or reading books on them without worrying about them running out.If you have the disposable income to afford one, I would say go for it as they are fun little gadgets that amalgamate many of the features of other hi-tech conveniences in to one place, albeit not always in a way as efficient and polished as the alternative.
