well of course this business is highly subjective. i recommend a 32 or 64 gb ipod touch. depending upon how many "tons of songs" is. i bought a 32 gb 17 months ago and i've been out of space for 3 of those months. i am so eagerly awaiting September for the release of the 4th generation so that i might upgrade to the newest 64 gb.
answer: Every Little Thing I Do Is Magic time: 1970-01-04 09:00:10It depends on what you want to use it for. If you just have songs, go with the iPod touch. If you have a LOT of songs and a bunch of videos, you should go with the iPod video classic because you can get one of them with much higher storage capacities.

So if you really want to store a lot of songs and videos, get the ipod classic or nano, but if you want to do more than just listen to music, then get an ipod touch.
