You can actually have the protagonist be a girl in the 2 Wii versions of the game, and you get to woo guys, get married, have a family, farm your land, make tons of friends, etc. The explanation never does much justice for the game, but from the description of the games you've given me, you match my sisters up pretty well.Go for Harvest Moon Magical Melody, or Tree of Tranquility. You can't miss!

Have you ever played any of the Harvest Moon games? If not i think you might like it since you like Animal Crossing. It's a little different though, you play as a character and you run a farm. I know, that doesn't sound very fun, but it really is. it's a fun and addicting game. Anyways, you take care of you animals and plant crops etc, and you follow along with a story line where you have to meet people and do certain tasks etc. The time frame runs kind of like it does on sims games. one minute in real time = 1 hour in the game. The newest version for the wii is called Harvest Moon: Animal Parade, and there is a older version called Tree Of Tranquility. Or you could always try the new mario galaxy 2 game. it's really fun also :3

Super Paper Mario.Its REALLY fun, great story, and its different that normal mario games. I'd re-buy my Wii just for that game.
