Where do you take a tv to throw it away in Virginia?
Where do you take a tv to throw it away in Virginia? we are trying to get rid of it and it doesn't work anymore. its there like a dump you can take it too?

Go to Earth911.com and put in tv then your zip code and find a place to recycle the old beast. Good luck.

I noticed that earth911.com works well for large cities, but I tried it with the Zip code for a couple of rural areas where I've lived, and the results are for places up to 1000 miles away. So if you don't like the results you get, try entering a code for the nearest large city.
In general, if you have a nearby Goodwill Industries store, they'll be happy to take it.
Whatever you do, don't just dump it. The hazardous materials inside are very bad for the environment.
