Plasma is nice but its too expensive. If you stuff in ur purse u can opt for plasma.Or Lcd is d best
LCD all the way. They are relatively cheaper to buy than a plasma screen. Plasma screens reflect light off the screens so you will get a lot of glare from it. Just go to like Best Buy or Wal-Mart and look at the plasma screen TVs and you will see the glare.
These new LED TVs are supposed to be pretty good. I'm not talking about the LCD with LED back lighting I'm talking about an actual TV that uses LEDs to make them work. They are much much thinner than LCD and Plasma TVs and for a Samsung 40" LED TV its a little over $1000 online and stores.
But LCD vs Plasma, I'd say LCD.
I go plasma. With LCD you have to be like right in front of it, which makes it painful to watch with a group of people.
Also note that plasmas consume more energy, if that's an issue to you.
It will depend on the model of TV, generally LED and plasma TV are better than LCd TVs.

Plasma is better! If your looking for one:
The Samsung 3-D TV is amazing! If that's too expensive, VIZIO is an awesome brand with the best quality I have seen they are the best around in my opinion!
Hope I helped!
God bless!
