Open Question
Would you buy a Fuji HS10 digital camera?
I'm in the market for a good bridge camera with a good optical zoom and something easy to hold! The last comment may sound 'odd' but I do not have the steadiest of hands so need something with a good grip. I was toying with the idea of a Canon also as some of their cameras have the 'rotating' screen which you can use to protect it - hope that makes sense! If not the Fuji HS10, can anyone recommend something similar for around the same price? Many thanks for your help.

The HS10 does look pretty good on paper, performs pretty well too. I remember reading a review of it. But it's the price that's worrying, by trying to cram so much into it the HS10 is in the firing line of the DSLRs, for most normal purposes a DSLR and kit lens is going to eat the HS10 in one, and even if you needed the reach the HS10 provides, there are plenty of used options on the DSLR market. So yest it's probably the best bridge out there right now, but perhaps it's a bridge too far (pun totally intended), therefore don't expect very high resale values at the end.
