Zero plus dialing longdistance phone scam?

there was nobody home on several dates last month..but i still had my answering machine on.now i have these collect calls for 20.00 each on my bill and nobody was even home on those dates,,,i didn't think my answering machine could except collect calls... it says zero plus dialing calls..billed on behalf of custom teleconnect?

someone mightve tapped into your phone lines.call the phone company and ask.

o plus dialing sounds more like operator assisted calls placed FROM your line, not collect calls... first, as with anything else, advise the company that you dispute these charges - and pay your entire bill - MINUS the disputed charges - they can not suspend your services for lack of payment for additional features.... also, have your company place a block on any 3rd party billed calls, or operator assisted calls...
